Why and how to get notified if your automation is not triggering

We are introducing a new feature in campaign automations that helps you stay on top of your workflows. Now, Custobar can notify you when an automation is no longer triggering. This feature is important to activate because it ensures you’ll notice immediately if something goes wrong – for example, data not flowing into Custobar as expected.

Without this notification, automations could appear active but fail to trigger due to missing data. This could result in missed opportunities or even lost revenue, especially for critical transactional messages (e.g., order confirmations, ready-for-pickup notifications).

By enabling notifications, you can:

  • React quickly if your automations stop working
  • Avoid losing money due to non-functional automations
  • Ensure smooth delivery of critical messages

To activate this setting, simply go to the Activation tab of your chosen automation.

You can select the trigger time to receive notifications, such as daily, weekly, twice a week or once a month when an issue arises. The notification will be sent by email to the person who saved the automation.
